Heyyyy! I’m back! It’s been 4 years since my last sewing vlog and I am SO excited to be back on your screens again. First part of this video is a chatty update, followed by my upcoming sewing plans.
Patterns Mentioned
Seneca Skirt (now called Sabrina)- Seamwork Magazine

Featuring an elastic waistband and flowy design, the Sabrina (formally the Seneca) skirt from Seamwork Magazine has been on my list of makes for a long time.
I have some gorgeous green cheesecloth for this project. I have a skirt made out of similar material which I wear ALL. THE. TIME. so I cannot wait to add this to my handmade wardrobe.
Fringe Dress – Chalk and Notch Patterns:

The Fringe Dress is a gorgeous flowy dress with a beautiful curved hem. As a shortie (5″1) I find the curved hems very flattering.
I have this gorgeous mustard and off white striped fabric for this version. As with my last one (made during Sew My Style), I will be using the wrap top variation.
Catarina Dress – Seamwork Magazine:

I already have 2 Catarina Dresses from Seamwork magazine and I cannot wait to add another to the collection! IT’s such an easy dress to not only make, but wear as well.
I originally drew the dress with this floral striped fabric (a vintage sheet) but have since changed my mind and will be making it out of a gingham fabric (once a doona).
